Scorpio season boasts a hopeful improvement and progression of stalled and suspended circumstances. The previous month's astroweather was like trudging on mud with a strong desire to just lay down and avoid all responsibilities... or maybe it inspired a need to pull back and contemplate before taking any direct action. This month things move forward, finally, but of course not without hiccups.

Happy Birthday to all the Scorpios as the Sun enters your sign on Oct. 22nd. Venus enters its home sign Libra on Oct. 27th, spreading bittersweet conditions in the Libra areas of your charts. It is bittersweet because Venus will have to face up against all the Capricorn hardness closer to the end of its stay in Libra. This sets up the realization of what's possible vs what's ideal, what's practical vs what's fair.

The Full Moon at 8˚ Taurus on Halloween, Oct 31st, is conjoined by destabilizing Uranus. Whatever started back in Taurus Season in mid-April to mid-May is culminating now with an additional wild-card and shocking detail.

Mercury stations direct on Nov 3rd at 25˚ Libra, squaring Saturn twice. As Mercury's agenda starts to move forward, it'll have to confront more Saturnian obstacles before it can safely re-enter Scorpio on Nov. 10th. Thinking back to the last 3 weeks of Mercury's retrograde phase, what kinds of situations had to be reviewed, corrected and reassessed? This time, your plans are put to the test in terms of its structural integrity and sustainability.

Mars also stations direct on Nov 13th at 15˚ Aries. Finally, the Aries area of your life will start to rev up and accelerate moving things along! Think as far back as July 25th when Mars first entered its pre-retrograde shadow for insights. What situations in your life rapidly changed only for it to halt and pause? These events will be revisited as Mars travels through the same degrees again until Jan 4th, 2021.

And finally, a relatively uncomplicated and optimistic New Moon at 23˚ Scorpio takes place on Nov. 15th, seeding a new beginning in the Scorpio areas of your chart. Read your horoscopes for a synthesis of what Scorpio Season has personally in store for you.

It's highly recommended that you primarily read the horoscopes for your Rising sign. If you don't know your Rising Sign, then you can read for your Sun sign. To figure out these placements, enter your birth date, location and precise birth time into an astrology app like Time Nomad or online at astro.com. ARIES

If resources such as time were infinite, does it lessen the value of possessing it because of the fact that it's available in perpetuity? In contrast, does the limited access to resources such as time make it so that when you do have it, it's that much more significant? Allow these loopy questions to inform you of how you regard the availability and access to resources in your life. Resources such as money, relationships, support, affirmations, experience and time. How do you manage, share, and appreciate them?

TAURUS

One can learn a lot of life wisdom when tending to plants, whether you're growing a whole garden or just a succulent in a pot. You can study and read books on how to nurture specific plants but there comes a point in the process when you have to apply intuition and feelings. Extend this wisdom towards your relationships dear Taurus. The grass is greener where you water it. Relationships require complex care and attention, which ultimately includes a lot of the work you need to do for yourself.

GEMINI

How much of your own sense of identity and purpose do you attach to your level of productivity? How problematic is your answer? 😅 What can you do to interrogate the capitalist myth that your worth is measured by how much you can produce? Think of rest in subversive ways dear Gemini. Link arms and commune with like-minded folks who can imagine a world where your value is not attached to your capacity for-profit and material success.

CANCER

In the world of kink, there is an emphasis on communication as a pillar of a safe dynamic. If you could unabashedly surrender to your desires, no matter how shameful or scary, how can you communicate these? Practice saying them out loud or writing it down to yourself. I encourage you to explore beyond the bounds of what you think is pleasurably possible. There is ample healing to be had when you lean into power. Allow this idea to transform how you take up space in the world.

LEO

Scorpio Season will always be about your lineage, your family of origin, your relationship with the dead, for better or worse. This time of the year turns your attention to this area of your life. How are you spending it? How are you coping with painful memories? How are you reconciling your early childhood experiences to who you are becoming now? How are you making sense of your relationship dynamics with the people who raised you? You also don’t need to know all the answers. Just sit with the questions, dear Leo.

VIRGO

What kinds of local intimacy do you engage with? How do you move through your daily landscapes? What have you learned about time? While you may be pining for the “grass is greener on the other side” experience, turn your gaze to your immediate surroundings. Who are the people you ally with? Who helps you? What do you offer your local community? Let this month be a lesson in gratitude and mindfulness. Find the beauty in the mundane by practicing presence.

LIBRA

Marie Kondo encourages a tactile and mindful relationship with every single item you possess. I encourage you to take part in this exercise this month, Libra. If you hold every material thing you own, what comes up? For Marie Kondo, joy is the ultimate criterion for holding on to things. Come up with your own with the intention of letting go of what's excessive and what truly drags you down. You would be pleasantly surprised at how much spaciousness this frees up in your body, mind, heart and psyche.

SCORPIO

Happy Birthday November Scorpios! Questions for you to consider this upcoming month: how important is it for you to maintain stability in your relationships? How much does your desire for security prevent you from taking risks? Who are you when you're not performing who you think you should be? In other news, work projects and health concerns start to move along and gain ground. You will have more gasoline on your engine to get your tasks completed. As well, you may find yourself happily enjoying more solo time.

SAGITTARIUS

Happy Birthday November Sagittarius bbs! Questions for you to consider this upcoming month: when you think about a painful memory, how does it feel in your body now? What kinds of skills have you learned that you've successfully applied during times of crisis? Find evidence of your strength. Learn how softness is its own kind of resilience. In other news, topics surrounding your creativity, sexuality, desires, children/child making, joy and romance move forward. This month, you may find yourself taking braver risks for your own pleasure.

CAPRICORN

Questions for you to consider this Scorpio Season: what does belonging mean to you? What early childhood memories do you have about being included and excluded? When you look around the relationships you have with the people around you, do you feel alignment or alienation? There is deep work available for you to pursue, especially around your childhood and familial conditioning. As an adult, you get to reframe and restructure what family means to you. This requires reconciling parts of your past you have not made peace with.

AQUARIUS

Questions for you to consider for the next month: what messages did you receive growing up about who you should be? How much do they still influence your choices today? Who are your role models and why? If money or public recognition were not a criteria for success, what would you rather be doing? This month is about learning how to reframe your history in order to serve your future. Innovate and interrogate what you're learning. Ask the hard questions and flirt with the impossible.

PISCES

John O' Donohue said, "Prayer is the bridge between longing and belonging." Without the religious baggage of what praying means, what power does the act of wishing hold for you Pisces? What do you yearn for? How do you imagine a world with rules and structures that support life? How do you turn your pleas into action? I encourage you to try out and get into the habit of praying. You might surprise yourself with the liberating vulnerability inherent in invocating your deep wishes.
