March arrives seemingly out of nowhere and picks up the pace after February's much needed slow down. A lot of celestial changes take place this month, so keep on reading.

Mercury continues to move backwards and re-enters Aquarius on March 4th. On the same day, Venus, the goddess of art and beauty, enters its home sign Taurus. This will surely bring sweetness and unexpected pleasures to this area of your charts.

March 9th welcomes a Full Moon at 19˚ Virgo, culminating whatever began August 30, 2019. This Full Moon is incredibly grounding and comforting as it moves through supportive aspects with other planets in earth signs. In contrast, however, both the Sun & Moon will form a challenging aspect to Neptune, so there may be a longing to attach divine meaning to whatever concrete outcomes this Full Moon delivers.

On the same day of the Full Moon, Venus conjoins Uranus bringing an element of surprise and Mercury stations direct. Mercury will still be slow on this day but finally moving forward. We’ll depart Mercury's post-retrograde shadow officially on March 30th, aka, all systems go!

The astrological new year begins with the Sun's ingress in the tropical sign of Aries on March 19th. In the north this signals the start of the Spring Equinox and the Fall Equinox in the south. In the northern hemisphere, solar light starts to stretch the days. Spring is in the air!

Then, on March 21st, we’ll witness Saturn change domiciles into Aquarius, officially beginning the Saturn return journey for people born with this placement. From this date until July 1st, we’ll see a new Saturnian narrative unfold in this area of your charts. Mars follows shortly and will also enter Aquarius on March 30th, boosting the signal of potential changes that are sure to take place in the next little while.

Finally, we close out the month with a New Moon at 4˚ Aries on March 24th. This particular lunation is a bit punchy and possibly frustrating. But nonetheless, a new beginning emerges.

ARIES

Happy Birthday March Aries bbs 🎉!

It's the astrological new year and also your solar season. The New Moon this month will coincide with fresh insights and events that take your sense of self into account. Perhaps you're gearing up to start that martial arts class you've always wanted to try! The Full Moon, on the other hand, will bring into completion a particular work project or health concern that you have been preoccupied with since Aug. 2019. Onward and forward, you go. And finally, March begins a series of tests on the strength of your social connections, networks, community and friendships. Basically, if you're no longer invested in making a particular relationship work, it's probably best for all involved that you say your farewells. Often unburdening yourself can be the best solution to your problems.

TAURUS

March is the month you take yourself seriously, dear Taurus. You are prompted to earnestly consider your overall life direction. Who do you want to be when you grow up? What steps do you need to take to make it happen? Perhaps this means saying no to things, so you can say yes to what's more important. The New Moon brings on a more hermit-like feel. There's a spark emerging from deep inside you. But it requires some quiet solitude and stillness to make sense of it. Don't be afraid to spend more time alone this month. The Full Moon brings to fruition special creative and romantic endeavours that launched back in Aug. 2019. It's time to prioritize what will bring you the best return on your investment. And yes, that includes your time and energy, both of which are finite resources, so use them wisely.

GEMINI

This month brings to the surface all the work you've been doing behind the scenes. You'll be inspired to embark on a journey that requires your dedication and discipline. Perhaps it's going back to school. Or maybe starting a new religious practice. Or studying astrology seriously! Whatever it is, it will help you integrate the losses you've been grieving for some time. The New Moon will bring you new opportunities for social connections, but it demands that you leave your home to make this a reality. The Full Moon brings to a close whatever began back in Aug. 2019 in your domestic sphere and your relationship with your family. It's a good month to clear out your home and to generally shave off excess. May you feel renewed and refreshed as you make more breathing space in your life.

CANCER

March overall brings a sobering realization that life is short and fragile. In a way, this inspires you to prioritize your time, money and effort into investments that give you the highest return. There are sweet surprises available to you from your friendships and community. Make sure you spend time with your people this month. The New Moon brings on a fresh beginning in your career. A new prospect and direction that demands your commitment and dedication. The Full Moon brings to a conclusion a certain daily structure you've had since Aug. 2019. Perhaps you've got a new route to work, or your favourite friend-neighbours are moving. March is the right mix of settling in and taking risks.

LEO

The focus for this month shifts your attention to relationships. Whether you're in partnerships or not, March brings up the reality of your situation(s). There will be a sense of urgency, and a realization of how you're currently handling your relationships can no longer continue. You need some new tools and strategies to move forward. Work, however, is a bit more manageable, if not doing well. You will be recognized for your hard work, and the New Moon may even send you on a well-deserved trip. Perhaps you will take a course to develop some skills that will give you a new surge of inspiration. The Full Moon brings to a culmination all the money moves you've been making since Aug. 2019. You will be reaping what you sow. Just remember, dear Leo, try not to be so hard on yourself.

VIRGO

March prompts you to compute, edit and organize your daily routine and work projects. This is the month you get down to serious business and say no to extraneous and waste-of-time projects. Your time is limited, and you must choose your efforts wisely. Don't get distracted, dear Virgo. Also, your health may need a bit more of your attention. Perhaps a visit to the dentist or chiropractor? Gotta take care of your bones - literally and metaphorically. The New Moon brings up some subterranean psychosocial material to the surface. It's a good segue to the sweetness of long journeys that are possible for you this month. Take a trip, you might enjoy yourself. The Full Moon brings to culmination matters of the body-mind-spirit. Since Aug. 2019, you've been busy developing and cultivating who you are. Now it's time to wane and shed. Becoming oneself is a constant ongoing process.

LIBRA

This month bears the good news of respite from the excessive adulting you've had to do lately. However, as much as you'd like to just relax already, March brings a new sobering reality that you've changed. You've really undergone some growing up, dear Libra. As a result, things & people that used to give you pleasure now feel more like a burden. Don't fret. It may just take some time for you to find new ways to enjoy yourself. There will be luscious and appealing collaborations available this month, so keep your heart open. The New Moon will propel and stimulate your relationships of all kinds - romance and business in particular. Get ready for exciting adventures and new partnerships! And lastly, the Full Moon will bring out the hermit in you. Make sure you reserve enough solitude and me-time to integrate all that has transpired since Aug. 2019. Rest is much needed.

SCORPIO

March delivers sombre news of home and family-life responsibilities that demand your time and attention. It may feel grounding to turn your focus here regardless of the burden it may cause. Make sure you come up for air and gain a big-picture perspective. In contrast, your relationships take on a more gentle, comforting and care-free tone. Lean on your people and let them hold you. The New Moon will introduce new work opportunities and projects, the kind that gets you excited! The Full Moon culminates certain groups, friendships and community spaces you've cultivated since Aug. 2019. Take it easy this month. Only say yes when you genuinely mean it.

SAGITTARIUS

This month opens you up to new learning opportunities and daily experiences, perhaps a new book, a workshop or two, a new neighbourhood to explore. However, you may also start to feel a bit overwhelmed by your day-to-day responsibilities. The key is to trim what's unnecessary and commit to efficient systems. Declutter your routines and reject nonessentials. The New Moon brings exciting and energizing entertainment! If you're a parent, a new seed of joy is on the horizon for your kiddos. Either way, pleasure is on the agenda for everyone involved. The Full Moon brings to fruition any career-related projects that started back in Aug. 2019. There will be new work projects and offers this month, though you may not be in the mood to labour too hard, tbh. Enjoy yourself and go with the flow. As you were, Sagittarius.

CAPRICORN

Life remains intense, but good news, dear Capricorns, you get a wee-little break from all the self-metamorphosis. How you support and sustain yourself becomes the topic for the next few months. It involves taking a serious look at your finances. March will be about realistic accounting and strategizing. If anyone can do it, it's you. It's totally your jam. The New Moon brings new beginnings on the home and family front. For some, this could signal a move, maybe a family member comes for a visit, or you'll be reimagining your relationship with the earth. The Full Moon takes you half-way through your current studies or perhaps a wrap up of various journeys and explorations. It's a month of sweet escapes and frivolous pauses. Please enjoy.

AQUARIUS

March looks a lot like a coming-of-age into adulthood. If adulting had layers (and yes it does), you're about to peel more away this month. You may find yourself getting serious about decisions that have long-term considerations. You may quit a habit that you've been attempting to cut out. You're ready to purge and shed old skin, old selves. The New Moon brings you new stories and short journeys. There is delight and excitement around you, make sure you take notice. The Full Moon settles a debt or a loss you've sustained since Aug. 2019. It's a welcome conclusion. Your home is set up to provide you with the space to pause. Create a sanctuary of comfort and leisure. Touch the ground with your feet. Feed your body with good food. Take a rest.

You may feel inclined to spend more time solo this month as you navigate some of your more painful memories. Make sure you have excellent emotional support in place as you do your deep dives. The Full Moon will bring to culmination any kind of partnerships or phases of your relationships that started back in Aug. 2019.
